Clearbrook elementary students bulk up Abbotsford food bank for Christmas

The students at Clearbrook elementary school in Abbotsford have been busy little elves.

They have been raising both money and food that will be donated to Archway Community Services for the food bank as it gets closer to Christmas.

The school raised $335 for Archway, and they also filled two watermelon-sized bins of nonperishable food. Students from Renee Hegberg’s Grade 4 class promoted this initiative by making posters and finding food-related jokes, which were told each day on the morning announcements.
